About Vinattieri Wines

Where Alpine Precision Meets Bordeaux Elegance.

Founded in 1985 by Luigi Zanini in Ligornetto, Vinattieri is renowned for crafting exceptional wines inspired by the great Merlot wines of Bordeaux.

Nestled south of the Alps, the estate benefits from a Mediterranean climate and chalky soil—ideal for producing expressive, high-quality Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.

The philosophy of the company has always been to cultivate its own grapes, which today grow on an area of 100 hectares. The main varieties cultivated are Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon among the red grapes, while the white grapes are based on Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon. Thanks to targeted work on the vine, manual harvesting, extreme care in vinification and the use of barriques, Vinattieri has gathered a great deal of experience over the years, creating a name for itself in the production of top-quality wines.

Under the guidance of Michele Conceprio since 2021, the winery continues its legacy of precision and passion, producing distinctive wines like Vinattieri Bianco, Roncaia, Ligornetto, and the flagship Vinattieri Rosso, which rivals some of the world’s best Bordeaux-style wines.
